Great to see an end to those vile tenements and horse dung filled roads.
It will soon be Camel dung and tents.

Thanks for sharing. Kind regards Niall O'Connell Ireland. Dundalk.❤️🇨🇮☺️👍🙏🏠
Brilliant picture.. Thankyou for uploading.. The people of Dublin look very different now .. such changes in 10 years and definitely not for the better.
I wish the names of the streets were onscreen.
I recognized most of them.
I loved every bit of that
I've watched so many of these videos & I'm always disappointed that no one put captions of names/dates. Loved it all the same. Thanks!
Ciaran if you look at the videos and pre 1916 photos you can see were the name of the places are, you are right it's a shame nobody's put names and dates, places, and times, but if you are dodgeing bullet's I don't think u are at name place's.
Lovely 😍 photos I think there was a few Rasher Tierneys there .
Lovey photo. they make me see how precious life is,,,
First memories of Dublin began Summer 1955, Drimnagh, Crumlin and Portran, not forgetting the North Wall . In my many many visits from then till now , oh how things have changed, but that Dublin spirit is still very much Alive. Strumpet City ❤️
Havnt seen most of these pictures before, heartbreaking
😪
Well done I have watched a few of these videos and can't understand why there are so few comments, I suppose people in Ireland for a few generations have been denied a proper sense of identity due to what passed for an education system when it came to their real history, most of the young are preoccupied with playing video games or copying other cultures from TV and the Internet etc. Thanks again 👍 ☘🇮🇪
Great pictures
Great choice of music and photos. Grma,🇧🇼Átha Cliath Abú 🇧🇼
What's going to happen to dear old Dublin, its dieing a slow Death. I'm heartbroken at it decline. Its character and its character's are no more. Who and what will replace our dirty old town. 😢. Who can fill those shoes 🤔💔 .
Up the Dubs 🍀✊
So beautiful! Has brought back so many precious memories and tears to my eyes . That was a Dublin of character and neighbourliness ... How we have destroyed it! ... Oh, when I look around at the pretentious abomination it has developed into 😢
BEAUTIFUL 🍀
Guess which person in the pics is the odd one out? To look you'd think they hadn't got a penny, you'd give them money with pity. This person was a multi millionaire but still acted the beggar.
Brillaint thanks
lovely photos .. I woulda loved to hear some of their stories !
🤔😮😯👍
The graduate ???
Fabulous song, really brings back lovely memories.
@1;58 Mary Margaret Dunne aka Dancing Mary was one of Dublin's most recognisable characters in the 80s and 90s. Always impeccably dressed, always smiling and dancing like nobody was watching. Her curious guestures and movements were her way of preaching and proselytising her faith. usual spot, in O'Connell Street, where The Spire stands today. Mary passed away in 2014, she was 87.
